By making a donation to National Unity Party Limited (Company No. 16258709), you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms comply with UK electoral law and are designed to ensure transparency, integrity, and lawful fundraising.
2. Permissible Donors
We can only accept donations over £500 from individuals or organisations classified as “permissible donors” under the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA). These include:
- Individuals registered on a UK electoral roll
- UK-registered companies
- UK-registered trade unions or building societies
- UK-based unincorporated associations or trusts
If you make a donation over £500, we may contact you to confirm your eligibility. If you are not a permissible donor, your donation will be returned.
3. Donor Information and Anonymity
All donations require the collection of name and contact details. This information is:
- Retained securely for compliance and record-keeping
- Not shared or published publicly, unless legally required
Donations over £7,500 in a calendar year must be reported to the Electoral Commission, including the donor’s name and amount, as required by law.
If you wish to remain anonymous in public-facing materials or acknowledgements, you may indicate this during the donation process. Your request will be fully respected in line with our Donor Anonymity Policy.
4. Refund Policy
Donations are non-refundable unless there has been a clear administrative error or legal issue (e.g. receiving a donation from a non-permissible donor). If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 14 days.
5. Financial Advice
We do not offer legal, financial, or tax advice regarding your donation. If you have questions about the implications of your contribution, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified adviser.
6. Use of Donations
All donations will be used in furtherance of the mission, activities, and campaign work of the National Unity Party. We reserve the right to decline any donation if, in our judgment, it could compromise our values, independence, or legal standing.
